Griggs County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan

A public hearing will be held from 6:30 to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, for review of the plan and integration of public comments followed by the Plan Committee meeting at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Cooperstown City Hall. The public comment and review period will officially close at 7 p.m. on Oct. 27.
The draft plan will be presented to the County Commission on November 20 for approval. After approval from the County Commission, the draft plan will be submitted to the N.D. Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for approval. Once approval from FEMA is granted, each jurisdiction included in the plan must pass a resolution to officially adopt the plan before the plan is officially approved by NDDES and FEMA.
